Job Summary
This challenging position has overall responsibility for managing the operations of the hotel to maximize profitability, ensure superior service and product quality, and drive brand and value initiatives, hotel performance, and the development of people.
Management candidates must be detail oriented, have strong leadership skills, good judgment, accounting/financial and HR aptitude, and at least 2 years management supervisory experience in Front Office; this individual should have strong multi-task abilities in employee and guest relations, with proven service training skills, team building, and be "results driven."
RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure company rules and procedures are followed
* Work alongside staff; be hands on
* Establish, Communicate goals and provide feedback to motivate employees
* Create a friendly, professional, and productive work environment
* Adequately train all employees and schedule/assign duties/shifts
* Interview and hire staff and complete annual performance reviews
* Initiate disciplinary, or other staff-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. Alert regional management or corporate office of serious issues
* Greet and register guests.
* Answer customers' questions, make them feel at home, and build on-going relationships.
* Inspect hotel for cleanliness and appearance.
* Analyze competitors and monitor surroundings to maximize profitability and sales opportunities
