Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General manager and staff in daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel and casino operations
- Manage and motivate a team of workers
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Ensure the hotel is clean, and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels
- Assist with greeting guests and in getting them into the hotel rooms, parking and service in the bar and casino floor.
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register balances
- Collaborate with the General manager to develop strategies to increase promotions and revenue goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
_Must have a South Dakota Gaming Key license or have the ability to get one with a complete background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
