Hotel Manager Assistant is responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager with daily hotel operations and services. Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Experience:
- Proven experience in hotel management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Knowledge of revenue management practices to optimize hotel profitability
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with human resources practices including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle stressful situations effectively
- Proficient in using hotel management software systems for reservations, billing, and reporting
