Hot Oil Unit Operator jobs in Utah
Hot Oil Unit Operator operates machinery used for proper breakdown of wax, paraffin and other buildup in hot oil units. Responsible for proper handling of hot oil truck and all other tools or machinery. Being a Hot Oil Unit Operator may be responsible for training new employees and ensuring that personnel is properly adhering to safety precautions. May perform administrative duties as necessary. Additionally, Hot Oil Unit Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hot Oil Unit Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00
SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for running a front end loader while working with the underground utility crews managing trucks, accepting deliveries, and providing parts and materials to the crew.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be able to operate heavy, motorized equipment in earth moving and utility operations
- Be able to operate said equipment with efficiency & precision
- Train employees to improve operation and care of equipment
- Work independently in absence of a supervisor
- Team player that focuses on problem solving
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of grades and blueprints
- Knowledge of storm drain, fused pipe and various pipeline construction and maintenance techniques
- 3 years operator experience
