Hot Oil Unit Operator operates machinery used for proper breakdown of wax, paraffin and other buildup in hot oil units. Responsible for proper handling of hot oil truck and all other tools or machinery. Being a Hot Oil Unit Operator may be responsible for training new employees and ensuring that personnel is properly adhering to safety precautions. May perform administrative duties as necessary. Additionally, Hot Oil Unit Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hot Oil Unit Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Location: Delmont, PA
Day Shift: 6am – 4pm
Position Summary
This position is specific to our Lucknow-Highspire Terminals LLC (LHT) business.
The Terminal Operator is responsible for performing safe and environmentally compliant bulk petroleum product transfer operations associated with receiving, storing, blending and loading of combustible and flammable liquids.
Terminal operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Terminal Operators may be required to work shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
This position assigned the day shift. However, the position also requires availability for nights & weekend pipeline deliveries and on call rotation.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include but not limited to operating and maintaining equipment associated with product transfers; inventory control; terminal security; facility maintenance and housekeeping. The position requires the ability to learn and perform all tasks in accordance with company HES policies and procedures, local, state and government regulations.
