» The primary objective of the Plastic Welder position is to fabricate plastic assemblies according to print specifications in a timely manner to meet customer requirements and the production schedule
Daily Workflow:
» Operation of specialized PVC hot air machine to weld together large sheets of PVC plastic up to 100 feet long
» Working with a specialized trainer to learn and operate machinery
» Select and prepare plastic materials for welding, ensuring they are clean and free from defects
» Scan each tag and code to program machine to precise measurements
» Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments
We’re Seeking (skills, education, and screenings):
» Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired
» High School Diploma or GED is required
» Have steel-toed shoes/boots or the ability to get them
» Bend, push, carry, lifting up to 50 pounds
» Available to work up to a 10-hour shift when necessary
» Accurately read and interpret a tape measure
» Able to pass a drug test (THC ok)
» Able to pass a criminal background check
Schedule:
» Monday – Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm; mandatory overtime will occur
