Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator works with Directors, Managers, and Nursing Supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing of the hospital departments. The coordinator will look ahead to fill vacant shifts with internal staff and external supplemental staffing agencies. Input accurate census, acuity and staffing data to generate daily reports, and performs clerical, reception and general office duties. Demonstrates a high level of customer focus when working with Directors, Clinical Supervisors, Nurse Managers and staff. Creates a culture of sensitivity to nurses needs while filling the patient care bases.
