About This Position
In keeping with the Marian Medical philosophy the Staffing Coordinator I: Responsible for planning coordinating and evaluating long and short-term staffing needs of designated nursing units. Responsible for coordinating patient placement. Responsible for scheduling routine in-patient transportation between MMC Main facility Marian West MECC Radiation Therapy and other Long Term healthcare facilities.
Selection Criteria
Strong secretarial and /or administrative background. Strong computer skills. Good organization and problem solving skills. One (1) to two (2) years of previous acute care experience preferred. Previous hospital experience and/or medical terminology preferred. Maintains effective working relationships with co-workers Must possess strong leadership abilities Assures a positive image is presented to visitors keeping with the MMC philosophy Able to communicate effectively and with confidentiality Able to work independently with little or no supervision Demonstrates working knowledge of hospital safety policies.
