Job Summary
As a healthcare staffing coordinator, your primary responsibilities are to plan and oversee a company's human resources operations. In this role, you will develop and implement staffing solutions to comply with legal regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities include identifying staffing needs, creating work schedules, maintaining employee files, and communicating vacancies to the healthcare pool.
Health care often runs 24 hours a day and requires proper attention to detail to ensure we provide the best care to our client's patients. Your duties are to handle approving vacation time, do clerical work, hire temporary workers and communicate with other members of human resources to determine what positions need to be filled at the hospital, clinic, or offices. You also handle records, report workers' hours to payroll, and monitor overtime.
Certifications from the American Staffing Association or the National Association of Personnel Services will be welcomed. Other qualifications include strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Our Staffing Superstar should be able to handle stressful situations when emergencies occur quickly and professionally.
