We are seeking a horse trainer
Alaska Horse Ranch is a horse training, horse breeding, riding lesson, showing, trail riding, facility located in Houston, Alaska.

You must live within 20 miles of mile 53 parks highway, Houston, AK.
Duties to include:
A horse trainer is responsible for the education, conditioning, and development of horses. Their expertise lies in guiding horses through the training process to acquire specific skills and behaviors. They employ a variety of techniques to establish a bond with the horses, gain their trust, and effectively communicate with them.
The main responsibility involves teaching horses basic obedience, improving their fitness, and refining their performance abilities. Horse trainers use methods like lunging, ground work, and riding exercises to achieve these goals. They must possess a deep understanding of equine behavior, be skilled in reading horse body language, and adjust their training techniques accordingly.
We also have baby horses to start their training, and 2 years old to advance in their training, Stallions used for breeding, and so on.
Job requirements:
- This is a position which will rely heavily upon previous experience, strong horsemanship
skills and even success as a professional rider.
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be able to pass a background check
- You must live within 20 miles of mile 53 parks highway, Houston, AK

- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
