Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Responsibilities:
Take a genuine interest in client by listening to their needs, ensuring that their environment is clean and safe.
Support client by preparing and serving meals and snacks.
Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
Notify supervisor of changes or unusual conditions.
