Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Home Health Aide wanted for 8 hours a week on Thursdays or Fridays! Schedule is flexible! This is a opportunity to provide quality care to a patient in the comfort of their home!

Responsibilities- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
- Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
- Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications- Current CPR certification
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Dependable transportation
