Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We are looking for compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) in the Amarillo, TX area to provide home health assistance in daily living and personal care services.

Responsibilities- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
- Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
- Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications- Current CPR certification
- TB testing
- Ability to monitor vital signs.
- Dependable transportation
Preferred Qualifications- 1 years of experience working in a clinical or home health setting.
- 1 years of caregiving experience
