POSITION SUMMARY

This position is accountable to the Production Supervisor and has manufacturing operation responsibilities for the receiving/pickup and delivery of TWG products with specific responsibilities of transporting orders over designated routes, ensuring safe operation of vehicles, and loading and unloading of TWG products. This position will contribute to the success of the operations of TWG by performing the following duties personally as listed in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities section as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (functions): TWG expects that all employees will work safely without injury maintaining the highest SAFETY standards in compliance with Company SAFETY policies.

• Drives company vehicle for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to and from designated supplier sites.
• Properly secures loads in company vehicle(s) and performs Safety Inspections as directed
• Maintains safety records (e.g. delivery log, inspection checklists, etc) for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information.
• Maintains and reports all mechanical or safety issues on assigned company vehicle(s) to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle(s).
• Receives stock and nonstock items for the purpose of ensuring correct specification, quantity, and quality of orders.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against purchase orders, invoices, or other related documents
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines utilizing provided material lifting and material moving devices for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Routes items to applicable departments
• Inserts items into containers and fixes covers on wooden crates or other containers with appropriate material
• Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift or other devices as directed by production supervisor
• Sorts parts and pieces utilizing the Company's inventory record system
• Distributes material from receiving to warehouse to other departments in shop as needed or directed
• Assist other workers in performance of their job functions as needed, assigned or required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS include the following. Other job qualifications within TWG may be required.

• Must have a safety-focused, positive, professional & respectful attitude at all times within & outside TWG and / or Dover OpCos, both domestically and internationally.
• Must have a current Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must either have or obtain a valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must demonstrate the ability to recognize problems, the willingness to respectfully confront problems and demonstrate problem solving skills.
