Being a Highway Patrol may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must meet physical and personal requirements. Additionally, Highway Patrol has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Unarmed Security Guard

  • Capitol Guard & Patrol is currently hiring full and part time professional licensed unarmed security officers to join our dynamic and fast growing team. We have multiple positions available immediately depending on your capabilities, schedule and experience. Security experience is helpful but not a must. We are looking for customer service oriented, professional, hardworking, and responsible individuals to join our team. Some positions will require that you be on your feet for 8-12 hours a day. An Arizona DPS Unarmed Guard Card can be obtained by attending an 8 hour online class and passing an AZ DPS background check (no felonies). Please keep in mind that if you do not currently have an AZ Guard Card then it will take 1-2 weeks to obtain one after taking the class.


    Current shifts available:

    Retail store from 9:30am to 9:30pm

    Overnight shift from 11pm to 7am

    Qualifications:

    - Must have current Arizona DPS Unarmed 

    - Must be able to walk/stand extended period of time.

    - High school diploma or GED.

    - Must have your own vehicle & working cell phone.

    - Excellent communication skills.

    - Able to read, write and understand English.

    Responsibilities

    • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
    • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
    • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
    • Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of shift.
