Highway Patrol jobs in Rocky Mount, NC

We are looking for a Police Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for service, enforcing laws, and conducting investigations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of justice, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. We are looking for someone who is committed to public safety and is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls.
• Maintain order and protect life and property.
• Enforce laws and ordinances.
• Investigate suspicious activities and persons.
• Conduct traffic stops and issue citations.
• Conduct searches of people, vehicles, and buildings.
• Gather evidence and write reports.
• Appear in court to testify in criminal cases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
