Job Title: Highway Maintenance Worker/Driver Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Highway Maintenance Worker Supervisor/Driver. In this Supervisory role, you will play a crucial part in leading the maintenance effort in the cleanliness of Rhode Island's highways and roads by removing litter and debris. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a Commitment to Environmental Stewardship.

Responsibilities:

Highway Maintenance:

• Safely and efficiently remove litter and debris from designated highways and roads using provided tools and equipment,
• Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough and timely maintenance of assigned areas.

Driving:

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transport team members and equipment to designated areas.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on company vehicle and equipment.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly to the corporate office.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of work completed via Google Drive, including bag counts, time spent on tasks, and report to corporate office any issues encountered.
• Submit daily reports via email and Google Drive Spreadsheets to the corporate office.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with VERIFIED 5 years clean driving record.
• Experience in driving Standard Pickup Truck with Utility Trailer in tow.
• Ability to use Electronic Tablet to access schedule and to read and send emails as required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 10 pound objects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of assigned roadways

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
