    The Electronic Services Division (ESD) supports all goals, most directly Sustaining and Enhancing agency infrastructure and business processes, by improving collaborative outcomes between WSP business and technology divisions, using consistent planning processes, increasing business continuity capabilities, and providing quality communication services.

    Duties

    This position coordinates with partner agency IT staff to develop network modifications – such as IP addressing and hardware configurations – to ensure disparate networks (city/county and WSP) are configured in a manner to support vital business systems such as ACCESS. This position determines what is needed, when changes should be implemented, and any other possible impacts; this position then coordinates with partner agency IT staff to implement the modification or change.

    Our new teammate will be able to:

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, conduct root cause analysis and resolve client authentication, DHCP, 802.1x port security issues across the network.
    • Installing, configuring, testing new hardware to replace legacy equipment to meet the continuing needs of Washington State Patrol.
    • Remove legacy equipment and replace with new equipment.
    • Assists in maintaining inventory all IT network and VoIP devices in owned and used by Electronic Services Division.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Two years IT work experience in an enterprise network environment.

    NOTE: This is not a full-time telework position. Candidates must be able and willing to work in the office and commute to here. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training and/or probationary period has been successfully completed.
