Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. This position is in the Pavements Section in the Technical Services Branch of the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). You will serve as a technical specialist in the field of pavement engineering. This includes pavement testing and evaluation, pavement design, pavement subsurface drainage, pavement rehabilitation, life cycle cost analysis, and pavement construction.
