Come join the St. Louis County Public Works team for the summer of 2024 performing routine highway maintenance work.

These seasonal positions are full-time and located in Brimson, Brookston, Cook, Cotton, Ely, Floodwood, Hibbing, Jean Duluth, Meadowlands, Pike Lake, Tower, or Virginia. Applicants will be able to pick their location preference when completing the application.

What is a continuous list?

• A list with no closing date, which means we are always accepting applications.
• When an applicant applies and passes the qualifying assessments listed below, they are placed on an eligible list.
• When vacancies arise, Public Works requests names for interview. We filter the list according to location preference for the current vacancy and refer names for interview to Public Works

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass/Fail):

• Must be seventeen (17) years of age AND a high school graduate; OR eighteen (18) years of age by the first schedule day of work.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Pay: Up to $17.11 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
