    Job Summary:
    As a Masonry Crew Leader at Brickworks Property Restoration, you will be responsible for leading a team of brick/block masons and concrete masons/finishers in performing masonry construction tasks while also managing the crew and jobsite. Your role will involve hands-on masonry work, coordination of crew activities, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship.     Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise a team of brick/block masons and concrete masons/finishers in performing masonry construction tasks, including laying bricks/blocks, pouring and finishing concrete.
    • Coordinate crew activities, assign tasks, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
    • Provide guidance, instruction, and support to crew members, ensuring that they have the necessary tools, materials, and resources to perform their work effectively.
    • Perform hands-on masonry work, including laying bricks/blocks, mixing and pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces, as needed.
    • Manage the jobsite, including overseeing work progress, monitoring quality, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, resolve issues, and ensure that project deadlines are met.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
    • Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and abilities in masonry construction.

    Qualifications:
    • Previous experience as a brick/block mason and/or concrete mason/finisher, with demonstrated expertise in masonry construction techniques and practices.
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
    • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety practices related to masonry work.
    • Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • OSHA certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
