Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brick Mason to join our team. As a Brick Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Responsibilities: - Lay bricks or other masonry units to build walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and dimensions of the project - Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the foundation or base to secure the bricks or masonry units - Use trowels, levels, and other hand tools to align and level the bricks or masonry units - Cut bricks or masonry units to size using saws or chisels - Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or mortar - Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work - Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations on construction sites Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience: - Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role - Proficient in masonry techniques including laying bricks, mixing mortar, and reading blueprints - Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials - Familiarity with tools such as trowels, levels, saws, and chisels - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and precision in bricklaying Skills: In addition to the experience mentioned above, the following skills are preferred: - Masonry - Blueprint reading - Trim carpentry - Construction estimating - Hardscape - Frame carpentry - Tile laying - Metal stud framing If you are a skilled Brick Mason looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth, we encourage you to apply.
