Job Description:

Classroom helpers work on prep projects, enforce classroom expectations/rules/safety guidelines, positively engaging in play with children, housekeeping, and build relationships within the early childhood campus classrooms.

Classroom helpers support daily activities, build social connection with children and promote learning and development through play.  All experience levels are encouraged to apply. Must be age 14-17 to apply. 

Classroom helpers have flexible schedules, have opportunities for seasonal employment and could earn school credits!

Essential Functions:

Work Environment

This position operates in a child care center. Classroom Helpers will interact with staff, children and their families on a daily basis.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular standing, walking, squatting, and sometimes rigorous activity including lifting supplies, or children. Classroom helpers must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
