Job Summary:
As a Masonry Crew Leader at Brickworks Property Restoration, you will be responsible for leading a team of brick/block masons and concrete masons/finishers in performing masonry construction tasks while also managing the crew and jobsite. Your role will involve hands-on masonry work, coordination of crew activities, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of brick/block masons and concrete masons/finishers in performing masonry construction tasks, including laying bricks/blocks, pouring and finishing concrete.

Coordinate crew activities, assign tasks, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Provide guidance, instruction, and support to crew members, ensuring that they have the necessary tools, materials, and resources to perform their work effectively.

Perform hands-on masonry work, including laying bricks/blocks, mixing and pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces, as needed.

Manage the jobsite, including overseeing work progress, monitoring quality, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, resolve issues, and ensure that project deadlines are met.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and abilities in masonry construction.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a brick/block mason and/or concrete mason/finisher, with demonstrated expertise in masonry construction techniques and practices.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety practices related to masonry work.

Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

OSHA certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
