Inside Sales Associate

Overtime Status: Non-Exempt

The Inside Sales Associates at Braen Stone will be responsible for working as a liaison with the sales team in creating world class customer experiences. It is a critical role in making Braen easy to do business with while making Braen Stone the only choice as a heavy material supplier in the NYC Metropolitan marketplace while always following the Company’s core values of Service, Integrity and Respect. The Inside Sales Associate’s responsibilities and expectations are outlined below.

Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Working with the sales team on creating and getting quotes out to the customers through the Sale Force CRM System.
• Help and assist the outside sale team with Sales Force issues, resolving roadblocks that are interrupting the customers’ ability to do business with Braen.
• To help communicate with the weigh masters, dispatchers, and customer service team to meet customer needs.
• Collect information on inventories from each site to be able to communicate out to the sales team in the field.

• Exercise exceptional customer service via phone, email and sometimes in person
• Possess patience when assisting contractors, internal and external customers
• Understand customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Keeping up with product and service information and updates
  

Required knowledge/experience:

• Excellent math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Knowledge and ability to work in Microsoft Suite of products from Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point TEAMS and One Note
