Help Desk Support responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues. Being a Help Desk Support uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Additionally, Help Desk Support advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Help Desk Support works under moderate supervision.     World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of impoverished communities around the world, is looking to hire a Donor Support Supervisor to serve as a lead role to the Donor Support Team by updating and managing donor information in the CRM database, working through inbound and outbound donor-related calls, assisting in executing “Thank You” programs, and providing leadership/guidance to the Donor Support Team. Together, these responsibilities allow the Donor Support Supervisor to ensure that World Help is providing excellent customer service and relevant information concerning programs, projects, and donation methods to all donors.

    Whoever takes on this role must exhibit an excellent administrative skillset, clear and effective communication, and strong leadership. In order to be selected for the Donor Support Supervisor role, World Help is searching for a devout follower of Christ whose worldview correlates with the company’s mission and values.


    Scope of Job

    • 50% - Inbound & Outbound Phone Calls – Time will be dedicated to answering inbound donor calls and making outbound calls for various donor needs as well completing any associated tasks such as entering data into CRM, mailing updates or information to a donor, and any other related assignments.
    • 20% - Inbound & Outbound Emails – Time will be dedicated to responding to donor emails and chats in a timely manner and fulfilling any other necessary tasks as a result of the email requests such as entering data in the database, mailing out a request, requesting an update on a sponsored child, and account management tasks.
    • 15% - Guidance on Customer Service Processes and Procedures – Time will be dedicated to guiding the Donor Support Representatives in customer service best practices, implementing efficient processes and systems, as well as serving as the supervisory problem solver when escalated donor situations arise.
    • 10% - Administrative Supervisory Tasks – Time will be dedicated to approving timecards, processing time-off requests, and assigning processes and tasks to the Donor Support Team.
    • 5% - Fulfillment Tasks – Time will be dedicated to completing fulfillment tasks such as writing thank you notes, processing account management mailings, and any other related tasks as assigned.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Update and manage all donor information in CRM database.
    • Work directly with Retention Manager to improve donor management processes.
    • Answer all types of inbound donor related calls through the main World Help line.
    • Provide project updates and general donor education on World Help.
    • Respond to all external and internal emails in a timely manner, within a 24-hour maximum time frame.
    • Make outbound calls to donors as needed.
    • Oversee and assist the team in executing and redefining “Thank You” programs.
    • Demonstrate ability to provide guidance on customer service practices, processes, and procedures.
    • Remain up-to-date on all organizational acquisition efforts to ensure the Donor Support Team is educated and can effectively answer any questions from prospective new donors.
    • Approve timecards and paid time off for the Donor Support Team.
    • Assist in recruiting potential new/replacement positions for Donor Support Team.
    • Any additional duties needed to help drive the mission, vision, and organizational values of World Help.

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
