Help Desk Support jobs in Farmington, MI

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Help Desk Level 1, 2 and 3 Support for applications and hardware.
• Provide hands on assistance for remote infrastructure projects working with remote team members.
• Provide backup support duties remotely to other locations.
• Provide technical support for all hardware including but not limited to:  desktops, laptops, copiers, scanners, desk and cell phones, and tablets.
• Deploy hardware for all break-fix issues.
• Create User accounts and applicable security necessary for specific positions.
• Set up and deploy equipment (PC and phones) for new and existing employees.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.  Associates or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field preferred.
• Prefer three years' experience in providing personal computer support including implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft windows environments.
• Working knowledge of IT ticketing systems.
• High degree of customer service skill is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical relocation of PC's, Monitors, and Printers.
• High level of attention to detail is required.
• Must be an independent worker within a team environment to succeed.
• Position is in our Troy, MI office, may have the ability to work from home 1 day per week
