Being a Help Desk Support uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Additionally, Help Desk Support advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Help Desk Support works under moderate supervision. Candidates must have previous experience working in a law firm environment. This opportunity sits in a smoke free environment and includes regular tobacco and nicotine testing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for IT/AV issues through phone, email, Zoom, or in-person interactions.
    • Ensure proper escalation of tickets for end-users and engineering needs.
    • Facilitate continuous cross-training in new technologies and suggest improvements to support procedures.
    • Serve as a liaison between the Help Desk, IT Department, and end users.
    • Support various technologies including Microsoft Windows, Office suite applications, iManage Work 10 document management system, Citrix Virtual Desktops, remote work platforms, mobile device technologies, and general networking, printing, and scanning.

    Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of help desk experience including some experience working in a law firm environment.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills with strong communication and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
    • Availability for overtime and on-call support.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 2016 suite within a legal environment, document management software (iManage, Open Text, Worldox), Citrix Virtual Desktops, call tracking applications, document comparison software, and legal-specific practice applications.
    • Basic knowledge of desktop hardware and printers.
    • Fundamental understanding of the legal services industry.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
