Help Desk Manager manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Being a Help Desk Manager trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. Identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Additionally, Help Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Help Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Help Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking a skilled Deal Desk Manager to play a strategic role in supporting our Sales team at Entrata.     Responsibilities
    • Assist the sales team in structuring and closing complex sales deals.
    • Provide guidance on utilizing and optimizing quoting tools, particularly CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.
    • Manage approval requests with precision and efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate closely with sales and finance leaders to review and approve deals within specified timelines.
    • Support the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing retention rates.
    • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver optimal outcomes.
    • Analyze deal metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue optimization.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to deal desk procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk processes and tools, providing training and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact deal structures and approvals.


    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2 years of experience in deal desk management, sales operations, or a similar role.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
    • Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and processes.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in the software industry, preferably with knowledge of property management software.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
    • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
