Help Desk Manager manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Being a Help Desk Manager trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. Identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Additionally, Help Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Help Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Help Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • HC-Resource is looking for a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician to join a growing MSP providing support for small businesses in Miami. This position will be exposed to many different scenarios, and end-user support experience is mandatory.

    Typical Duties and Responsibilities
    • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers, domain controllers and workstations
    • Office 365/Sharepoint/Exchange Online administration
    • Setup, maintain & troubleshoot virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
    • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network routers, switches and firewalls
    • Demonstrate strong customer service skills to provide phone support
    • Listening to the customer to gain an accurate understanding of the situation
    • Producing accurate, detailed documentation at the client, problem and incident level
    • Focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery quality
    • Answer inbound calls/requests in a timely fashion
    Technical Skill Requirements:
    • Strong Windows 10/11 support knowledge
    • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to customers
    • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (such as DHCP, DNS)
    • Working knowledge of Active Directory
    • Working knowledge of NTFS/Share permissions
    • Working knowledge of O365 user administration
    • Basic understanding of firewalls and firewall rule
    • Strong analytical ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
    • Ability to narrow down connectivity issues regarding network, share folder access, or internet access
    • MAC background a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    Other Requirements:
    • Reliable transportation and the ability to visit client sites as needed
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
