Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. ResourceMFG is seeking people interested in the Assembly Field to join our team in Cheyenne, Wy.
Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm Mon-Thurs Pay: $16.08
This is a 4×10 schedule so if you are looking for 3 day weekends every week this is the job for you with spring and summer right around the corner. The Assembler will be working in a warehouse environment, assembling various parts. As part of our team, you would be operating production line machines, inspecting products, packaging products and learning the valuable skill of maintaining equipment. Automation with robots is part of our manufacturing process. Our ideal person for the Assembler position would have a strong work ethic with a great attention to quality and safety.
