Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. POSITION SUMMARY
Technicians perform technical work, provide technical support and deliver excellent customer service to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, analyze, repair or overhaul concrete pump equipment and act as a pump start-up trainer. Assembler should have experience to perform technical work, to inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concrete equipment.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school)
Field of Study: Mechanics preferred or Work Equivalent
Experience: 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ERP - Preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus
Certifications & Licenses: CDL a plus
Other Requirements: Excellent interpersonal, customer and communication skills.
