Heavy Assembler jobs in Washington
Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Essential Functions

Run schedule; understand and decipher part numbers.
- Follow work instructions, drawings, established quality standards, and established safety protocols.
- Must meet defined production expectations and be on-time to schedule.

Read and recognize assembly parts and their subcomponents by size for application of assembly.

Package and label products and perform computer transactions.

Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations and perform within the physical and environmental demands of the job.
