Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Assemblers for a company based in Lewisburg, TN. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assembling doors according to company standards.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Assemblers Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review process sheets and drawings to know what material will be required for the specified job.
- Follow the process established to guarantee zero defects.
- Check materials prior to assembly to make sure all specifications are met.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Wear PPE in all designated areas for each job function.
- Must be able to use hand tools.
- Must be able to operate machines such as band saws, lathes, and punch presses.
- Must know how to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Background check and drug screen required.
