Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Production Worker to join our team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling products using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Your attention to detail and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.

Description: Assembler

Pay Rate: $20-23/Hr.

Hours/Shift: Day, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST, M-F; some scheduled OT as needed

Duration: 8-10 months, $2,000 BONUS at successful completion of assignment

Responsibilities include:

• Perform tasks required to position, install, attach, and apply parts per general procedures and to specified quality requirements.
• Complete tasks by following work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and carrying out assignments given by Supervisor in an efficient manner
• Use assembly tools such as torque wrench, air-impact, hydraulic leak test equipment, etc.
• Perform minor rework as required to detail parts and components to permit proper assembly. Make adjustments or alignments to components involving cleaning, drilling, tapping, filing, etc.
• Responsible for helping to maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company requirements
• Rotate between workstations to compete various assembly tasks
• Drive fork truck and handle loads safely.
• Perform all tasks within safety guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by lead person or department team leaderRequirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production setting
• Ability to work with computers and software systems
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to perform each essential duty and physical requirements satisfactorily
• Must be able to effectively prioritize work tasks and requirements
• Must be a team player
• Must take the initiative to learn & maintain job skills
