Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Hours/Shift: Day, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST, M-F; some scheduled OT as needed
Duration: 8-10 months, $2,000 BONUS at successful completion of assignment
