Heavy Assembler jobs in Dover, NH
Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Records and reports defects
- Re-inspects reworked units
- Identifies non-reworkable issues to the supervisor
- Routes non-conforming material to the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Applies use of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions when handling products
- Works independently in the Engineering Department with Engineers
Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm OR 7:00am-3:30pm
