Job Overview:
The Crisis Line and Referral Service, which serves six counties in central Minnesota, is seeking an Executive Director.
The Executive Director (ED) is the principal staff position responsible for the leadership and management of the organization. The ED is responsible for achieving community awareness, providing successful educational programs. The ED is also responsible for fund-raising events, program development and implementation. The ED is also expected to develop and administer standards and procedures for the organization including but not limited to human resources, finances, budgeting, and physical facilities. The ED works closely with the Board of Directors to assure the success of the organization.
The candidate must have the MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
College Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Valid State issued driver’s license and vehicle.
Experience:
Minimum of three years with a non-profit organization, preferably with fund raising experience. Applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with volunteers and community supporters.
Skills:
Must have proven and applicable skills in areas such as:
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to represent the organization as a professional and positive spokesperson.
Problem solving skills.
Organizational skills
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Computer hardware and software skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
