We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to oversee our food service operations. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our food service department, including menu planning, food production, inventory control, and customer service. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee food production and ensure that all meals are prepared and presented in accordance with established standards
- Manage inventory levels and control costs by monitoring food waste and implementing effective inventory control measures
- Train and supervise staff members, including cooks, bartenders, and servers
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events or catering services
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a similar role as a Food Service Director
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and inventory control
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for our customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
