    Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

    • Advocating actively and upholding the standards, industry-leading practices and protocols outlined in the PwC Digital Quality Assurance (QA) Framework;
    • Actively overseeing reviews of user stories (functional and technical), identifying and helping bridge gaps in requirements particularly around use-cases and workflows (considers happy path, alternate paths, user-error, system-error workflows;
    • Collaborating with the Business Analyst/ Product Manager to obtain an extensive understanding of the application and the business being supported by the application. Working closely with the Solution Architect/ Technical Lead to understand the technical approach, technical specifications, non-functional requirements that are integral to the software application;
    • Guiding the QA Manager to author Agile Test Plans and Requirements Traceability by confirming testing depth (# of test cases) and breadth (types of test cases) are commensurate with the number of story points/complexity and effort intensiveness of the functionalities being developed and tested;
    • Demonstrating proficiency in formulation of QA Testing strategies based on the Product type/ phase/ technology and overall Business goals, leveraging industry-leading knowledge of using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps;
    • Overseeing test-set peer-reviews, test-plan reviews, execution of test runs, logs and actively seeking quick resolution of bugs based on their severity and priority;
    • Participating in daily stand-up meetings, retrospectives, drives continuous improvement from conducting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of Production bugs;
    • Offering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support as needed;
    • Maintaining primary ownership of the QA environment(s), test data creation and working closely with Test Automation Engineers and Performance/Load Testers, driving and maintaining transparency and predictability for the release by sharing test summary reports at the end of each sprint;
    • Conducting regular reviews of Quality Assurance Metrics such as DRE (Defect Removal Efficiency), Test Automation Coverage, Functional Test Coverage, and alerts the QA leader to any critical dependencies, risks or constraints and recommends remediation steps;
    • Maintaining and scaling-up of Test Automation Frameworks using tools such as Robot Framework, Apache JMeter, Selenium, Java/ Python;
    • Possessing experience with Performance Test Engineering, specializing in Appium for automation of test scripts for mobile platform devices;
    • Operating as the Technical SME for a team of Test Automation Engineers and Performance Test Engineers around strategy, implementation, tracking and continuous improvement of the Test Automation capabilities within the team;
    • Setting goals and budgets, establish product roadmaps and guidelines, coordinate managers, and build positive relationships with business partners;
    • Coordinating QA efforts that result in consistent on-time delivery of new products and regularly schedule maintenance releases;
    • Developing, monitoring and improving release quality and operational practices necessary to deliver high-quality release;
    • Defining quality engineering metrics and KPIs and drive team performance utilizing those metrics;
    • Providing leadership, support and rallying the quality engineering team towards enabling product engineers to deliver high-quality software; and,
    • Developing team members by identifying potential and providing necessary growth opportunities and support.
