Healthcare Service Line Director develops and manages all functions within a specific service line e.g., oncology, cardiac, women's, orthopedics. Establishes effective strategies for programs, product/service line, and physician integration and resource utilizations with the goal of increasing service line growth, efficiency, and patient experience. Being a Healthcare Service Line Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Healthcare Service Line Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Will be authorized to inspect in process & final assemblies during assembly stages.
Organization of Components:
Will have detailed responsibilities for the organization and maintenance of work orders and scheduling of daily work.
Will have authority over staff to direct organization efforts. This will include the verification of appropriate processes and techniques.
Inventory:
Will have periodic inventory obligations that will include the counting of certain key components on a regular basis.
Will have authority to assign staff members to count items as needed. Will be active in preparation for physical inventory projects.
Training: Will contribute to the development of training procedures, instructions, drawings, etc. Will perform training & document to satisfy quality system needs.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
1 to 2 years of processing experience.
