Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. provides technical support during and after implementation for electronic data interchange applications used in healthcare settings. Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. SUMMARY
As a part of a team of experienced developers, this role will design and develop solutions to support application portfolio. Primary responsibility includes technical design, development, testing, documentation and collaboration during all SDLC phases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop efficient solutions in a timely manner to the existing team and enterprise standards.
Participate in all SDLC phases (as requested) including requirements & design reviews, all aspects of development, code reviews & unit testing, integrated and performance testing, documentation and operational hand-off activities.
Perform post-production support, user support and cross team support activities as assigned.
Work independently or as a member on a project team.
Mentor other developers on the team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload. These include but are not limited to:
-Neuron ESB
-Axway API Gateway
-Dynamics AX
-Dynamics CRM
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES
Knowledge of contemporary .NET Development Stack(s) including
-C# and/or F#, or equivalent object-oriented and functional programming languages such as Java, Scala, Swift, OCaml, etc.
-Most recent .NET /.NET Core, .NET Framework
-One or more Web application frameworks (Angular/React/Vue/etc.)
-One or more ORM frameworks (EF Core, Dapper etc.)
Knowledge of Object-Oriented and/or Functional Design Patterns, S.O.L.I.D. principles, Distributed Systems, Parallel Computing.
Demonstrate solid understanding of Database technologies, SQL (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch, Mongo DB).
Proven understanding of API design and API security including current versions of OpenAPI specifications, OAuth specifications and experience with API Gateway.
Experience in Middleware technologies, RabbitMQ.
Preferred knowledge of Distribution industry.
Required Skills:
1. .NET Core (or .NET 6 or higher)
2. Entity Framework Core
3. SQL Server
4. Full scale REST API development on a .NET stack
Preferred:
5. F# or another functional programming language
6. Neuron (Event Bus, our main integration platform)
7. Prior experience building microservices for modernization of systems
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or related field of study
10 years of experience as a full stack developer in a large enterprise.
5 years of experience as a Sr Developer in a large enterprise.
