Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     THE ROLE: The Sr. Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and business partnering support for achieving performance goals for the AWS Lubbock site.  Provides overall financial guidance and insight for new initiatives, contingency planning, KBMs, inventory/cycle time reduction, process improvements, budget/strategic plan agenda items to maximize financial and operational performance.  Prepares special ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for site and AWS Americas Operations leadership.   We offer a full benefits package to include Flexible Time Off (FTO) for salaried positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and additional miscellaneous benefits.        

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.       

    • Support the overall forecast for AWS Lubbock through understanding of the performance and forecast for the site. (Key result: All variances from forecast, budget and prior year can be adequately explained, and improvements that can be made to enhance future forecast accuracy).
    • Support overall coordination of the AWS Lubbock budget, strategic plan, and forecasting activities understanding the year over year changes.
    • Active participation in providing financial understanding of manufacturing spend, performance, productivity, working capital and savings initiatives.
    • Development of direct labor, manufacturing overhead, and material absorption rates.
    • Provide analytical support for ISC metrics including RCCA explanations around conversion cost, variable cost productivity, etc. 
    • Develop and implement productivity and efficiency in finance processes to make greater time available for support of operational improvement initiatives.
    • Develop process improvement initiatives in respect to financial reporting for the Lubbock site.
    • Supports SOX, Internal, and External Audits as necessary at the Lubbock site.
    • Reporting and analysis of AWS Lubbock results
    • Monthly analysis for Site leadership
    • Support to Lubbock Operations team on Productivity, Performance and Site metrics
    • BU Site Review Support
    • Headcount Cost/Control
    • Alignment of Fcst/Budget/AOP with Functional Leaders
    • Ad hoc reporting
    • Support AWS Accounting team on monthly close activities.
    • As-needed support for other AWS units (Buffalo, Chihuahua) 

    QUALIFICATIONS:     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or financial/accounting with 5 years of business experience
    • Must have a working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“US GAAP).
    • Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time across the Americas region.
    • Must have the ability to engage business process owners in a direct yet professional manner, thoroughly evaluate business processes, and quickly identify potential control gaps.
    • Requires demonstrated skill in written and oral communications and interview skills.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint skills. OneStream preferred.
    • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated 

    The estimated salary range at this professional level is $95,000 to $115,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, Wellness programs, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
