TEKsystems is seeking a Healthcare EDI Analyst for a long term contract opportunity with our healthcare client. General Purpose: EDI Analyst I: Responsible for basic data processing and technical analytics for simple process automation and limited core system changes. EDI Analyst II: Focuses on semi-complex data processing and detailed technical analytics for moderate automated process improvement and semi-complex core system modifications. EDI Analyst III: Manages complex data processing, creating procedures and systems for complex automated process improvement and critical system modifications. EDI Analyst IV: Oversees managing complex/custom data processing, advanced procedures and systems, detailed technical analytics for complex automated process improvement projects, and manages the core system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Varying degrees of involvement in business requirement and documentation gathering, data analysis, and multi-project management. Engage in healthcare EDI transactions with increasing complexity from Analyst I to IV, including batch and real-time formats such as 837I/837P, 274, 834, 835, and 270/271. Additionally, EDI develops and manages HL7, JSON, XML, NCPDP, and custom Delimited Flat Files. Independently work under the direction of a Project Manager or a Sr. EDI Analyst to iSdentify and document business and processing conflicts. Develop, test, and deploy analytics mapping and solutions across healthcare systems. Understand and apply SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies to all stages of project development. Use SQL and other database technologies for data mining and business reporting. Maintain and manage structured query language techniques for advanced data mining and business reporting as expertise grows from Analyst I to IV. Additional Responsibilities: Actively participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex problems, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency. Analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems. Facilitate the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures related to EDI standards and practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes using technology and innovative practices. Skills and Abilities: All Positions: Require excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, and proficiency in various EDI and database management tools. Higher-Level Analysts: Leadership skills, advanced problem-solving, strong technical project management, and the ability to mentor others are emphasized. Proficiency in ANSI formats, SDLC, Agile methodologies, SQL, and software productivity tools are common requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity Tools: All roles demand a strong capability in utilizing Microsoft 365 productivity tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps Services (ADOS), to enhance workplace productivity and streamline processes. l
