    Summary:

     

    This position is responsible for providing the Texas team with prompt and accurate EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) support. Analyzes specific reporting and data requirements and provides information to internal and external CCMSI clients. Will perform a variety of reporting and data-related duties as assigned.  Will analyze data and develop custom reports based on client needs.  It requires a determined, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think “out of the box” when addressing CCMSI’s reporting needs.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

     

  • Entry of data for state reporting purposes into various EDI programs to allow for proper EDI FROI (First Report of Injuries) and SROI (supplemental Reports of Injuries) submissions.
  • Ability to run SQL Queries a plus, but not required for the position.
  • Communicate with internal CCMSI Personnel to obtain information needed for proper submission of Texas-required EDI submissions.
  • Communication with various staff members within the EDI team and Information Systems with the understanding of information and date-related project requirements
  • Coordination with IT and Operations to ensure processes are validated daily and error notifications are cleared within state-required guidelines
  • Maintain Monthly EDI status reports
  • Training of any Texas personnel involved with EDI processes or submissions.
  • Will provide support to the Account Managers in the development and maintenance of various reports and forms (internal & client) utilizing a variety of database applications.
  • Responsive to internal and external client needs.
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.

    Education and/or Experience                                                                 

    Associate degree in technology, business, insurance, or equivalent experience.

    Workers’ Compensation and/or Property and Casualty insurance experience is preferred.
