Health Value Analyst analyzes product research and clinical outcomes data, and prepares financial analyses to ensure that hospital supply management activities optimize the delivery of cost-effective, quality healthcare. Determines the clinical and financial impact of adding new products and technologies to the hospital product line. Being a Health Value Analyst evaluates prospective technologies that may significantly impact revenue and support strategic planning. May require a bachelor's degree of specialty. Additionally, Health Value Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Health Value Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     We are seeking a Clinical Quality Value Analysis Coordinator to:

    • Serve as the programmatic and operational coordinator for non-pharmaceutical value analysis processes within the UW Health System with the goal of providing high quality, efficient, cost effective and aligned services.
    • Actively engage physicians and other clinicians in value-based variation reduction related to clinical practice and products, devices and supplies.
    • Work with the Health System leadership team to effectively coordinate change management systems that results in the establishment of and adherence to a streamlined method for reducing variation of product/service selection, utilization, quality and costs.

    Education:

    Minimum - Associate degree in surgical technology, nursing or related healthcare field. Two years of clincial experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below.

    Preferred - Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field.

    Work Experience:

    Minimum - Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience.

    Preferred - Three years of relevant leadership or coordination of teams, programs, quality improvement, analysis or operations. Value analysis or supply chain experience. Understanding of financial analysis and quantitative/qualitative assessment data.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    Preferred - Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Certified Surgical Technologist, Rad Tech, Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Technician, EMT, Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP)
