Provides therapy to oncology patients and their families referred for outpatient behavioral health services. Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care for patients attending outpatient programs. Maintains accountability for own care to assure adherence to ethical standards. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria), appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned service area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
| Master’s level graduate in counseling, social work, psychology, family therapy or related behavioral health field. |

Experience:
| One year experience as therapist/counselor. | Experience with oncology patients, grief, and end of life preferred. |
License(s)/Certification(s):
| Independently licensed as the Master’s Level Clinician within 1 year of employment. Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
| Requires ability to read, assimilate and synthesize information to make patient care decisions. Must be able to perform with proficiency, independently and have good communication skills. Must possess the ability to make competent decisions in stressful situations. Able to perform dictation. |
