Duration: 5Years

Location: Central, East and West Contra Costa County locations

• Solid leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams
• The ability to think along business strategy, process, and architecture guidelines
• The ability to achieve results in an extremely matrixed environment
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Principles and practices of governmental organization and management
• Principles and practices of governmental budgeting and fiscal management
• Principles and practices of the administration of healthcare services systems and programs

ABILITY TO:

• Lead, plan, organize, and direct the work of subordinate IT staff
• Make oral presentations
• Analyze situations and data accurately and develop an effective course of action
• Prepare clear and concise reports of an analytical or policy nature
• Provide and promote excellence in customer service for both internal and external customers
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships

TYPICAL TASKS:

• Oversees all IT project management activities
• Develops and maintains strategies, processes, tools and methodologies to support ongoing project management activities
• Provides technical, policy and managerial assistance to IT staff
• Provides leadership and direction on project, configuration management activities, resources
• Leads and directs business analysis of clinical and business applications utilized by Health Services Department.
• Leads project implementation, integration and documentation activities
• Trains, motivates and assists in the evaluation process for information technology personnel
