Health Informatics Manager manages a clinical biostatistics or health informatics team. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Communicates with analysts, healthcare providers, and management to establish new processes and analyses, and to tailor current data processes to best help providers. Additionally, Health Informatics Manager requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Health Informatics Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Health Informatics Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     JOB SUMMARY

    An Informatics EPCR Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision along with management and working closely with delivery teams to provide excellent product(s) that serve the GMR mission. The Product Manager provides the product roadmap and works with partners to ensuring the GMR product(s) and are aligned to the company overall strategy and goals.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

    • Serve as the technical voice of the electronic patient care products.
    • Owns the roadmap and working with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align strategic goals.
    • Drive product-related decision making within the EPCR team.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategic objectives in an efficient manner delivering positive results for the organization. 
    • Complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
    • Draft key objectives, results and strategies and apply the data for the product to collaborate with business for decisions.
    • Possess an understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies with clinical documentation system.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development to support strategic growth of a EMS Clinical Software.
    • Accountable for the product(s), delivering in the product enhancements with the GMR product delivery methodology.
    • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
    • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
    • A leader with good communication skills, purpose-driven traits, and fosters a culture of respect.
    • Work closely with senior management to contribute to the strategic company product portfolio.
    • Research and analyze market trends and user needs as applies to GMR product portfolio.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience: Five years’ relevant experience as a product manager setting related to patient safety, healthcare administration, clinical practice, education services or continuous quality improvement.

     

    Skills:

    • Demonstrates teamwork and professionalism
    • Demonstrates proficiency with presenting and educating various levels of healthcare professionals
    • Excellent analytical skills. Able to collect, interpret, and analyze data.
    • Proficient with software platforms such as Microsoft 360
    • Able to collect, interpret, and analyze data
    • Process improvement/change management experience preferred

     

    Qualifications:

     Education 

    Bachelor’s Degree or experiential equivalent preferred.
