Executive Director, Gateway Health

What you’ll do:

Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for an Executive Director, Gateway Health, based in Danville, VA. In this role, the Executive Director leads the strategic execution of goals aimed at ensuring the long-term financial viability of Gateway. This includes fostering new membership growth, increasing top-line revenue for Gateway Health, maintaining positive EBITDA, and attracting and retaining key talent on the Gateway team crucial for advancing Lifepoint’s Mission, Vision, and Guiding Principles. Additionally, this leader serves as the Executive Director of the AdvantagePoint Health Alliance-Blue Ridge Clinically Integrated Network (CIN).

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main administrative liaison between Gateway Health, its Board of Directors, and Lifepoint Health.
• Establish, review, and adjust charges within Lifepoint's policy framework.
• Negotiate and finalize professional contracts in line with corporate policy.
• Lead administrative functions between the CIN and health system executive team.
• Execute strategic goals for the CIN's long-term clinical and financial viability, fostering payer and employer relationships.
• Support physician leadership in developing care models and payment initiatives, driving operational improvements.
• Serve as the primary liaison to legal counsel and the CIN board of trustees.
• Develop an organizational plan for personnel and operations at Lifepoint.
• Ensure the maintenance of physical properties and supervise business affairs for optimal financial outcomes.
• Prepare and present capital budgets for Board review and approval.
• Provide periodic reports to the Board and the Company on activities and relevant developments.
• Attend all Board and committee meetings, serving as a liaison officer and conveying communications.
• Perform additional duties as necessary in the Company's best interest while assisting the Senior Director, Population Health.
• Actively participate in and contribute to Gateway Health's quality management program for continual quality improvement.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance.

Experience:  Minimum of 10 years’ experience preferably in provider networks, contracting, or managed care.
