Health Educator
Mission West Virginia’s THINK Program is seeking multiple full time Health Educator in Cabell, Boone , and Kanawha Counties.
The Educator will deliver effective program instruction using specified curriculum and provide group and educational services for participants of the THINK program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job descriptions, duties and specifics may be revised based upon changes with programs and funding sources. Employee may perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Health, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services or Education preferred, however other degrees will be considered. Must have had experience leading or instructing a group. Hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Other Skills and Abilities: Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new data management programs. Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and social groups. Ability to maintain professional working relationships with other team members, school personnel, community providers and corporate partners. Strong instructional and trainings skills preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
Specifics: Reports to the THINK Program Manager. Site varies between Home/Starting Points Office/School. Any telework arrangements will follow company policy. Statewide travel required, including some national and overnight travel. Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Salary: $36,500 - $39,000 with annual merit raises
